Hospital Records return to Farringdon this summer for a special album launch double header. Topping the bill is S.P.Y launching his new ‘Alone in the Dark’ EP, while Nu:Logic celebrate the release of their ‘Somewhere Between the Light’ LP. An early signing to Hospital offshoot imprint Med School in 2006, after releasing acclaimed releases across respected labels like Spearhead and Critical S.P.Y has become one of Hospital’s key signings. He performs a special 2-hour set to launch his ‘Alone in the Dark’ EP. He’s joined by two of the label’s most recognisable stars as Nu:Tone and Logistics go head-to-head to launch ‘Somewhere Between the Light’ under their Nu:Logic guise. Also touching down is one of the most accomplished figures in drum & bass: LTJ Bukem. Known as being one of the visionaries for a new liquid funk sound through the 90s, Daniel Williamson has consistently been regarded an icon in his field. His label Good Looking Records helped to pioneer liquid in its earliest form, and his Logical Progression series remains widely regarded as a holy grail of drum & bass. A FABRICLIVE regular with his LTJ Bukem & Friends party series, Williamson now lands for a rare set in Room One. Also slated to join are Shadow Child playing exclusively jungle and hardcore, DLR and Anile, while GQ, Lowqui and Visionobi share hosting duties to round off Hospital’s full room takeover.

Over in Room Two, we invite nomadic party crew Jungle Jam to take over with some of the core members of their family. Headlining with a live set is General Levy, the acclaimed MC and figurehead for jungle and dancehall. With a string of releases spanning across a 25-year career, Levy has become arguably the best-known British junglist. He’s joined by dub and reggae specialist Benny Page, as well as some of the key figures in the UK’s jungle scene. Randall brings his crates of timeless break beats that helped establish him as a godfather of jungle, joined by staples Kenny Ken and Potential Badboy. Also locked in are Ragga Twins, Fearless and Navigator, while Jungle Jam’s own cast of residents play to round off a Room Two exploring sound system culture.
